Dr. Garnet Patterson Earns Fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry

Patterson Dental Center is pleased to announce Dr. Garnet Patterson’s achievement of Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This prestigious award is rare and one of the few distinctions available to general dentists. Fewer than 7% of dentists in the United States and Canada have earned this designation.

The exclusive recognition distinguishes Dr. Patterson (pictured right) from his peers and bolsters his commitment to providing high-quality, tailored dental care to his patients. This achievement equips Dr. Patterson with the latest knowledge in procedures and state-of-the-art treatment.

The Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry requires 500 hours of continuing education courses, including 350 hours of live courses, as well as the passing of a written exam, similar to the Board Examinations administered in dental school. The exclusivity of this award demands years of commitment and discipline, and the duration to complete can take upwards of 20 years.
